Terms of service
The service
MyHomeStock is a household inventory and shopping list tool. It is provided as-is during early access, with the goal of helping you not run out of things and not waste food.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account. If your password is compromised, change it from your profile page or use "forgot password" on the login screen.
Acceptable use
- Use the service for your own household, family, or roommates.
- Don't try to break, scrape, or overload the service.
- Don't upload receipts or content that aren't yours, or that contain other people's personal data without their consent.
Your content
Everything you put in (items, receipts, notes) stays yours. We need a limited license to display it back to you and your household members. That's it.
Early access
We're in early access, which means features change, occasional bugs happen, and we're not promising uptime SLAs yet. We try our best to avoid data loss but you should not rely on the service for medical, financial, or legal record-keeping.
Liability
We're not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from your use of the service. Where law allows, our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months — which during early access is $0.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page if the terms change materially. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
